George Crumb: Ancient Mysteries and the Universe of Dreams

American composer George Crumb (1929-2022) will be the focus of an evening dedicated to his work. Scott Yoo hosts the program with performances by flutist Alice Dade, members of NEXUS Chamber Music, and members of the Grossman Ensemble.

Scott Yoo joins a jury of Tanja Dorn, Michael Fine, Sergio Tiempo, Mikhail Voskresensky, and Lilya Zilberstein in a nine-day piano competition. The Mexico City Philharmonic travels to San Antonio to accompany the three finalists in the fourth round at the Tobin Center.
